Quarterly Regional Sacred Assemblies for 8-City Regions of California

OVERVIEW

Here is outline expressing the vision of the eight participatory, ongoing, QUARTERLY REGIONAL SACRED ASSEMBLIES (RSAs) planned for 8-City/Regions of California. Please consider whether you might be interested in participating in them. These are carried by a vast ‘Community of Friends’:

• These ongoing, quarterly, Regional Sacred Assemblies (RSAs) are 12-hours of continuous prayer/intercession, worship, fasting (we urge everyone to fast on water or juice), humbling ourselves, presenting ourselves before the Lord, supplication / proclamation / decree, open mic, prophetic declaration, preaching, scripture reading, scripture medleys, real time spiritual art, and whatever else God wants to do in a spontaneous format in accordance with the Joel 2:15-17, II Chronicles 7:13-15 and James 5:16-18 models.
• With your help and participation, we are attempting to launch RSAs initially in the following 8-City/Regions: (1) San Diego, (2) Los Angeles/Orange, (3) Bakersfield, (4) Fresno, (5) San Jose, (6) San Francisco, (7) Sacramento, (8) Chico/Redding.
• These Assemblies will be administered by a multi-generational, multi-ethnic, multi-stream, multi-gender, functional (key), Leadership Roundtable of 16 (“The Roundtable of Friendship”). This Roundtable will maintain and sustain the Assembly for that particular region every quarter. Once a year, ALL eight city/regions will converge into a State Wide Assembly for ALL of California.
• These Assemblies are a Bottom/Up, Horizontal platform that approximates the ‘Social Networking - Facebook/Wiki’ synthesis that defines this generation and which is flexible enough to allow for maximum ‘voice’ participation in order to impact our society in a meaningful way for Christ. The Assemblies seek to offer an alternative to the current paradigm in the Body of Christ, which, in general, approximates a ‘Charismatic leader, Top/Down, Limited Voice Participation’ model.

THESE ASSEMBLIES WILL HAVE A 3-FOLD PURPOSE:


(1) REVIVAL / REFORMATION

• These Assemblies seek to contribute to the rising tide of revival and reformation in the state and seek to assist in breaking open the heavens within specific regions and then to sustain and maintain this breakthrough spiritually, and on the ground, in order to occupy the land (Pray, Fast, Go Speak!).
• The Church, The Houses of Prayer and the Sacred Assemblies are all symbiotic in nature and essential if we are going to obtain the Revival/Reformation we seek. All of these Cogs must be turning together. God has placed this inherent handicap.

(2) BIRTH AND STRENGTHEN HOUSES OF PRAYER (HOPs) / MAKE 24/7 A REALITY IN CALIFORNIA

• To strengthen existing Houses of Prayer (HOPs).
• Birth new HOPs
• Help make 24/7 HOPs a reality in multiple places within the state
  • Assemblies act as a feeder and provide training for the Houses of Prayer
  • The Assemblies seek to assist in helping establish HOPs within a 30-minute drive of everyone in California
    • Important: Any Church that is a praying church is a House of Prayer

(3) IDENTIFY AND RELEASE VOICES OF JUSTICE – UNIVERSITIES and CITY HALLS

• The Assemblies seek to identify ‘voices’ of justice and righteousness within the gatherings and facilitate their release into the 7-Mountains of Culture—both sacred and secular.
  • “If they can thunder in the Assemblies, they can thunder in the Culture!”
    • Ultimately, this is a Battle of the Assemblies and this is a Battle of the Voices. Our generation is hanging in the balance.
• Initially focus on releasing these ‘voices’ into two of the 7-Mountains of Culture: UNIVERSITIES and the CITY HALLS (KEY):
• THE FIREHOUSES
  • To facilitate the engagement of these two key arenas, the universities and the city halls, we seek to use the Quarterly Regional Sacred Assemblies in the 8-City/Regions as a rallying point and feeder to create ‘Fire Houses’ in proximity to these centers of influence.  This will answer the question, “What do we do between the Assemblies?”
  • The emphasis on these Firehouses will be to ‘Pray, Fast, Go and Speak,’ so a dual emphasis on Evangelism / ’Being a Voice’ AND Prayer / Fasting.
  • These Fire Houses will be jointly funded by the Church, Houses of Prayer, the Saints and Para Church Organizations and will work closely in conjunction with them.
  • Those who participate will be asked to make a 12-month commitment, and in return, part or all of their finances will be supplemented as funds permit.

WHY FOCUS ON THESE TWO MOUNTAINS?

• From these two arenas - The Universities and the City Halls-many of your most influential leaders in society will arise – both political and economic. Many of your future financial, political and other elites in society are birthed from the Universities.
• Many of your future Congressman, Senators and Presidents get their political start within their local City Halls and almost all are college educated (City Halls are a political feeder)
  • Both of these arenas have Free Speech areas and Open Mic, so are still accessible and can be influenced for righteousness.
    • Begin to break the ‘Matrix.’
• The Universities educate and create a mindset that then indoctrinates the masses to secular humanism and anti-God paradigms and consequently have infiltrated every corner of our society. Then, the politicians codify these mindsets into law once critical mass is reached, which eventually leads to a change in the very fabric of society and culture, and then changes of times and seasons! This is happening now!

• How was the Summer of Love and the Rebellion perpetuated? Through the Universities in California starting at Berkeley, then the rest of the universities in California, then the nation, then the world.
  • I work on the college campuses in Southern California and if you only knew how little real Christian witness there is on these campuses, and how few are coming to the Lord, you would probably fall out of your chair! We need wave after wave of thousands of voices hitting these beach heads!
  • This is where you get the statistic that at the current rate of evangelism, only 3% of the generation between 18-30 will be bible believing Christians as opposed to 65% of the World War II generation…decimation! I see this in play first hand, at the ground level on the university campuses.
    • Where do you reach this age group that is still accessible: The Universities
• Hitting these roots with prayer, fasting, going and speaking (Pray, Fast, Go, Speak!) begins to break up the matrix and fallow ground of Secular Humanism holding unbeliever in spiritual bondage. As a consequence, salvations begin to follow as the seeds of the gospel now begin to go into fertile, soft ground (i.e. Evangelism Explodes!). The Evangelist begins to be able to take ground once again.
